My 12 week update! (pregnant)

So I just left my doctors appointment and they had me in that waiting room forever!! But nevertheless I got 8 Pictures of the baby (mostly profile) he is so cute!! And they took blood from my finger for the down syndrome testing and they said the fluid behind babys head is measuring perfect for no defects in the baby!!! I am so blessed, and guess what yall??? Baby waved at mommy!! yep he was all in the camera like hey!!

I left that office, starving and I went to Mcdonalds and had to dollar menu it up because my money sooo funny (but i aint laughing). I can eat now, and I spit less, but every now and again I will throw something up, but it is ok, im good... Also I have lost a total of 7 lbs being pregnant!! go me go me!!!

So Over This First Trimester!!!

Today I am at work feeling tired and sick, sick and tired lol! all and all i'm glad to be alive and "baby lee" (so my mother in law calls my baby) is doing well. Monday Novemeber the 28th was my 25th birthday and also MY DEAR HUSBAND AND I WENT TO OUR SECOND DOCTORS APPOINTMENT AND WE (sorry for the caps) got to see the baby, and all of his or her glory. So healthy and growing I am so blessed, though I am sick and no energy I am greatful everything is ok, and on Dec 21st we go back for all the important screenings to make sure the baby does not have downsyndrome and stuff.

On that day that we went to the doctor i was suppose to be 9 weeks but they measured the size of my baby and said i was 8 weeks and 4 days, pushing the due date from july 2 to july 5... Maybe it can be on my husbands birthday which is july 9th...

7 WEEKS AND 5 DAYS PREGNANT (THE WEEK OF ALL THINGS)

Today is actually the first day in two in a half weeks I have not been a nausea basket case. I mean I be sick left and right day and night morning and evening...This baby of mines sure has me out of my element, but it is all worth it!

Now this pregnancy has me sick, taste buds not workin gand sleepy, well yesterday I got some chicken nuggets from Mcdonalds just to put something in my tummy and my Husband was driving and I got the urge to puke, vomit, throw up... My hubby asked if i needed him to pull over but I couldnt speak, I barely got the window down in time, so as we drive down a busy highway, I let go all i had out the window and it was all over my  car. I didnt care who rode by that cold air felt good on my face and I was finally relieved. My first time throwing up since I have been Preggers and I must say I think it is the best thing to happen to me so far!!!

The nausea continues!!

So hi guys and gals! I am 7 weeks and 2 days pregnant today and I must say I can tell I am pregnant now. I am nauseated to the t! I have not thrown up as of yet thank God, but it feels like I have to but it never makes it... talk about miserable here at my desk at work!

I think my husband has some of my sickness to though, because he is extremely tired and thats not like him, his motto is "he will sleep when he dies" lol and his stomach is upset and he craves certain foods, so idk but it sounds like he is takin gthis journey with me.

Also I am an emotional reck!! You hear me ladies, Im a rollercoaster of emotions...laughter, crying, mad, aggervated, tired lol til I am sick of myself. I pray it gets better. I can not even taste food much anymore, I just eat to keep the nausea down and because I kno wi need to lol! And to think thanksgiving and my birthday weekend are right around the corner!!!!! I was planning to eat well!!!

Six weeks and 2 days pregnant!!!

Hi guys I know I havent posted in a while but you all need my prego update. I am so in love with my little pumpkin seed I dont know what to do. Being pregnant is a blessing from God, though the hubby and I saw this in the future about two years from now, God may have saw fit for later to be now.

So let me tell you I have been reading up on this baby like crazy, looking at his/her development at this stage, brushing up on things I can expect and things to come. I have had some Pregnancy symptoms. Some are very light and not really a bother or will keep me from my day to day task. Pregnancy symptoms are light cramping in my lower stomach (which i do not feel so much now that i think about it, but evey now and again it will feel like I am coming on my period.

Also I do get nauseous when I smell certain smells or drink water. I feel sick to my stomach but I am not throwing up as of yet... (thank the Lord)  No crazy cravings and my apetite is alomost the same, I have always been able to chow down lol.

Now on the the peeing, the frequent running to the restroom!! Oh yes, I am one to sleep through the night never awaken, hard sleeper... lately for the past 5 nights I have been getting up and using the bathroom every night. The first night it was twice, then three times, then FOUR times, so i decided not to drink so much at night, and pee right before I lay down, so last night it was twice... Whew!!! Thats pretty much all the symptoms.

I have not gained any weight, my belly is still the same, I eat normal though I am going to the grocery store to buy healthy foods and snacks and water! Thats another thing, I was told by a Friend with three kids, that if I drink lots and lots and lots of water me and baby will have beautiful skin. Granted Ive been downing the h2o (gulp).

My little Pumpkin Pie

Well I started this blog to keep track of my "first time mommy" antics and I am just so excited because on yesterday, 10/30/2011 I took an at home pregnancy test and it was positive. The hubby and I were so shocked to say the least. I have been waiting on my period to arrive because I had all of my period symptoms...sore breast, headaches, pimple, fatigue, I was bloated, just no period and I was beginning to worry. So seeing that the dollar store pregnancy test were the same ones at the doctors office, I just grabbed one on Saturday and waiting until Sunday morning to use my first mornings urine to test, and sure enough, I am producing a little boy or girl!!!

We were not planning to get pregnant, but we are at a place in life where we wouldn't mind a little one around. In fact I had just enrolled back into school forget my AA degree so this should be interesting. I am going to schedule my first appointment this week and my Dear Husband is going with me, I shall post the picture of the little peanut for the world to see very soon.

Oh yeah we haven't told anyone at this point (=). This will be my husband and I first baby together, he has a son already before we got married.

A little about Doug and I (Rachel that is and I am also known as curlyt00 on the web) we have been together since May 2003 and married since May 2007, and looks like our little pumpkin pie will arrive five years later from 2007 on July 2012!!!!

I'm too excited... (after being scared!)
